Morning Critc Reviews: the movie/documentary, Happy.
It’s on Netflix.
I watched it yesterday morning and told everyone I could about the movie. It kind of blew my mind. I laughed, I cried. I happy laughed cried. It’s true.
But I love learning about the brain and emotions. Every since I read Naomi Judd’s Love Can Build a Bridge, I realized how much our emotions can control our body. Naomi explained it like this: When we have an emotion like embarrassment we physically change when we blush. We are the only animal to be able to alter our body by our thoughts. That’s pretty crazy.
This movie explains more crazy stuff like that. Watch it. It’ll make you think about your thoughts. I think I’m going to watch it again. *
Morning Critic Movie Score: A+, yeah, that’s right.
* Have you read Eat, Pray, Love? I couldn’t get all the way through it because I got so annoyed. Anyway, remember when Julia Roberts’ character goes to the mediation place in India and meets the man from maybe Texas and he calls her “Groceries.” Remember him? The one thing I took from that book was “You control your own thoughts, Groceries.”
